Micron Industries Names New CEO

ASLON is pleased to announce that Steve Scharff has been elected President and CEO of Micron Industries. Don Clark, the current CEO, will become Executive Chairman of the Board. Micron manufactures power and control transformers for OEM applications and carries the broadest line of transformers and power supplies in the industry.

Prior to joining Micron, Steve served as Vice President and General Manager of Acme Electric, a Hubbell Inc. company. Previously, he held sales and marketing roles with Actuant Electrical and started his career in sales with Hubbell Wiring Systems. Steve received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.

“Not only does Steve have the right combination of industry experience and strategic leadership, but he also exemplifies the faith-based culture we’ve built here,” remarked Don. “This quality was important to me during our search, and I am confident that Steve is the right leader for Micron’s future.”

We at ASLON are grateful to all of those who contributed to the successful completion of this critical search for Micron. We spoke to many people who offered advice, referrals, expressed interest or even just took the time to listen to our request, and we sincerely thank you.
