CGW Abrasives Hires New President

ASLON is pleased to announce that CGW Abrasives has appointed Mike Sullivan President in the U.S. and Canada.

As President, Mr. Sullivan leads the U.S. and Canadian functions of CGW’s business and is responsible for their overall management and profitability. He reports to the Board of Directors.

Mr. Sullivan brings a wealth of experience in abrasives to the position. He served previously as Vice President at United Abrasives/SAIT and has held product management and engineering roles at Saint-Gobain Abrasives prior to that. He recently completed a two-year term as President of the Coated Abrasives Fabricators Association. Mr. Sullivan earned his bachelor’s degree in Management from Assumption College in Massachusetts.

“We are confident that CGW Abrasives will reach new heights under Mike’s leadership,” said Yitzhak Apeloig of CGW Abrasives Board of Directors. “He is a luminary in the abrasives industry, and we could not have landed him without the support and service that ASLON provided throughout the entire process.”

We at ASLON are grateful to our IESF partner in Israel, Dror Katabi, for giving us the opportunity to work on this assignment, and to all of those who contributed to the successful completion of this critical search for CGW. We spoke to many people who offered advice, referrals, expressed interest or even just took the time to listen to our request, and we sincerely thank you.
