William C. Murschel

Bill Murschel retired from KeyCorp in 2011 after nearly two decades in communications management positions, directing the company’s corporate and strategic news announcements and annual report, serving as chief company media spokesperson, and advising the CEO on media matters and speeches. He then served as an adjunct faculty member in the Communications Studies department at Baldwin-Wallace University and as a speechwriter for the President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank. Earlier in his career, he held communications management positions at Continental Bank Corporation in Chicago (now Bank of America) and the Chicago Board of Trade.

Bill holds a Masters of Management degree in Marketing with concentrations in organization and management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor’s degree with honors from Monmouth College (Illinois).
